Dick Timberlake Memorial Ride

Riders celebrated life at the Dick Timberlake Memorial Ride on November 6th to honor the 2nd anniversary of his death, and to remember all the local cyclists killed by vehicles in our city.

ConnectCOS Draft Live

The City of Colorado Springs released the ConnectCOS draft transportation plan for public review this week. This is the first city-wide multimodal transportation planning effort in two decades.

Happy Trails
Three trailside meet and greets

The Bike COS Education Team teamed up with several Bike Ambassadors and our Outreach Team to staff three Happy Trails events this year and were tables and materials were set up on our urban tails to introduce useres to Bike COS. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and those who renewed or became new donating members. We look forward to more events like these in 2023!

PPRTA ballot measure 7A PASSED

Bike Colorado Springs thanks our supporters for helping to pass ballot measure 7A to extend PPRTA funding the proposed projects that will make getting our our city safer and easier for all of our residents regardless of how they choose to get around our region.

Education Program

The BikeCOS Education program put on 10+ classes throughout 2022. We've tought bicycle courses to a wide swath of the community from municipalities to community groups.

As BikeCOS has become our own non-proffit we need your support more than ever to make our city and region a better place to ride a bike.

Please join us as a member, ambasador, or voulenteer and help spread the word about the good bicycles bring to our community. If you like what Bike Colorado Springs is doing we ask you to invite fellow supporters of safe bike infrastructure to support Bike Colorado Springs. Please join with all of us at Bike Colorado Springs in lending your voice when we need pro-bike voices heard.
